Horsham District Foodbank has launched it's 'Tintastic' campaign in support of people facing hardship in the local community.
Despite the incredible generosity of the local Horsham District community, meeting the increased needs of people facing hardship is an ongoing challenge. Last calendar year, the Horsham District Foodbank provided 10,220 emergency food. This is the most parcels the food bank has ever provided, even during the pandemic. As 2024 begins, they are bracing themselves for an even busier year.
According to data by the Trussell Trust, an average of 1 emergency food parcel is expected to be given out every 8 seconds in England! This is as donations continue to drop, meaning that the gap between what is coming into the food bank and what is being distributed is widening and cannot continue indefinitely.
The Horsham District Foodbank needs your help to continue to support the community.
Help spread awareness by taking part in the Tintastic campaign.
