Gatwick Aviation Museum has announced that there will be an engine-running day on Saturday, 27th July.
Visitors to the museum will be able to observe both the Shackelton and Lighting aircraft with their engines running.
This display of two historic Cold War aircraft is the closest aviation enthusiasts can witness to seeing them operating, as no surviving aircraft of these types are in flying condition.
