Your Horsham is the brand name of Horsham Business Improvement District, established, after a successful business ballot, at the end of January 2024. Run by a Board of Directors, (the majority of whom are volunteers from within the business community of Horsham Town Centre), our focus is to help support businesses in our amazing town. Each business in the BID zone (see website for exact boundaries) is liable to pay the BID levy which is applicable to each and every business that has a business rateable value of £12,000 or more.
In summary, our aims and ambitions are to act as a central voice for the town centre businesses and to identify opportunities to help secure a future for our businesses by using the income generated from the BID levy to help to pay for activities and events that improve the look and feel of the town and encourage more people to want to shop, work and socialise here. We also look for opportunities to support businesses in their development, learning and cost savings. For instance offering first aid training at a significantly discounted rate and offering workshops on financial awareness and helping to prevent fraud. Our initial projects are driven by a business plan which can be found on our website. We have some exciting plans in place and hopefully businesses and visitors to Horsham Town Centre will see the impact the BID has over the coming weeks, months and years.
