Prior to 2019 Hop Oast was probably known for being the location for Horsham's Household Waste Recycling Site, or more commonly: the "Horsham Tip".
Then in June 2019, Horsham Football Club finally received the keys for their long-awaited new Ground and the Camping Word Community Stadium became a venue that would attract hundreds of local and traveling supporters to the regular home matches.
Hop Oast is also the location for Horsham's Park and Ride Car Park, which in addition to its obvious purpose, is also used for Horsham Football club match-day parking, and occasionally as a rallying point for Horsham Town Centre events involving vehicles.
