OCE4NBLUE FUNDRASING DAY

In memory of Katie Bayley
On Saturday 20th September 2025 Rookwood golf club will hosting the 4th Oce4nblue Charity Tournament.
Then from 5pm the fundraising will continue with the After Party hosted by Kathryn and Phil
at THE DOG AND BACON, HORSHAM
We have a Charity Golf Day taking place to raise funds in Katies memory.
The previous golf days have raised a total in excess of Β£10,000 and to date through family and friends we have raised in excess of Β£40,000 for The Liver Intensive Therapy Unit (LITU) at Kings College Hospital.
So all you budding Tigers and Mclloroys get a team together to take part in the 4th Oce4nblue Golf Tournament.
Places are limited and will be on a first come first serve basis.
The cost is Β£55 per person, which includes coffee and bacon rolls, 18 holes and food back at the Dog and Bacon after, followed by prize giving and an evening party with Lloyd Rendell Entertainments providing the music.

Katie was admitted to the LITU at the end of May in 2016, tests and operations followed over the next 10 Days whilst the hospital worked tirelessly to stabilise her and protect her. Katie remained in a critical condition whilst she fought the bacteria that was attacking her body, but sadly Katie passed away on 7th June 2016 aged just 18. Katie died from a rare, sudden and very severe illness called Acute Hemophagocytosis.
This most often affects young people in previous good health, it may be triggered by a viral infection, like that which usually causes glandular fever.
