My name is Suzanna Frisby. I have been qualified and working as an Osteopath for 16 years. I qualified from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999 with a Bsc (Hons) in Osteopathic medicine and a diploma in Naturopathy. I went on to complete a Masters degree in Paediatric Osteopathy in 2006.
Osteopathy Works Horsham promises to provide professional, friendly and individual treatment, care and advice.
Osteopathy is a form of physical therapy designed to give relief to the body’s mechanical or structural abnormalities. Newborns to the elderly can benefit from an Osteopath’s treatment.
Treatment can range from soft tissue massage to manipulation to the very gentle cranial osteopathic techniques.
Osteopathy can relieve the symptoms of a wide range of conditions including:
Joint aches and pains
Arthritic pain
Acute and chronic backache and pain
Neck pain
Headaches arising from the neck
Shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand & finger pain
Hip, knee, ankle foot and toe pain
Sciatica
Muscle spasms
Repetitive strain injury
Pregnancy related joint pain
Sports injuries
Tension
Whiplash and accidents
and many more…..
Osteopaths treat the person – for example, a knee injury may also affect the foot, hip and spine. We would assess these areas to see how we could help.
Update: I am really pleased to once again be involved in educating Osteopathy students in paediatrics. I will now be spending one clinical session per week working at Nescott in Epsom helping the undergraduate degree and masters degree students develop their skills and clinical experience in paediatrics. It is great to be part of their team.
